This renovation succeeded because the homeowners were completely unified in their vision and decision-making from day one. Their clarity on wanting an open, welcoming floor plan with strong indoor–outdoor connections allowed the design team to fully reimagine the original, segmented villa. Nearly the entire home was gutted to create bright, flowing spaces with two guest suites, a master suite with an office, and views of the outdoor living areas from almost every room.
The Dudziks’ favorite feature became the loggia, a seamless extension of the main living area with postcard-worthy views of the pool, spa, and custom putting green—a gathering spot their family gravitates toward during visits. For the architect, the slightly larger lot opened the door to unique opportunities, including a freestanding guest cabana and a professionally crafted putting and pitching green.
